FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1200 PM EST
FOR PERSONS IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...

ONE AND ONE HALF INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN EARLY THIS MORNING ACROSS
MUCH OF THE COUNTIES IN THE WARNED AREA...WITH LOCAL AMOUNTS OVER TWO
INCHES. NINE TENTHS OF AN INCH OF RAIN WAS REPORTED BETWEEN 7 AM AND
8 AM AT THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE IN LOUISVILLE.
 
CREEKS AND STREAMS WERE STARTING TO COME OUT OF THEIR BANKS.
 
NEW RAINFALL BETWEEN 1 AND 2 INCHES CAN BE EXPECTED THROUGH NOON ACROSS
THE WARNED AREA...WHICH WILL CAUSE ADDITIONAL FLASH FLOODING.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
