IN NORTHWEST NEVADA ...NORTHEASTERN HUMBOLDT COUNTY AT 1:15 PM...ELKO DOPPLAR RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM LOCATED ABOUT 5 MILES NORTHWEST OF THE TOWN OF MCDERMITT IN NORTHEASTERN HUMBOLDT COUNTY. THIS STORM WAS MOVING EAST AT ABOUT 10 MILES PER HOUR AND CAN BE EXPECTED IN THE TOWN OF MCDERMITT BY 1:30 PM. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 58 MPH, DESTRUCTIVE HAIL, DEADLY LIGHTNING, AND VERY HEAVY RAIN. WEAK TROUGH INDICATED ON 1KM VIS LOOP AND PICKED UP BY 12Z ETA. RESULT OF THIS IS FOR COOLER TEMPS ACROSS NORTH THAN PROGGED 24 HOURS AGO AS WELL AS POSSIBILITY OF CONVECTIVE DEVLPMNT ALONG TROUGH.
