SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1115 AM CDT
FOR RESIDENTS IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA
 
   ...SOUTHERN LAFOURCHE PARISH
 
AND THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS
 
AT 1025 AM NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDING FROM NEAR HOUMA SOUTH AND TO THE COAST. THE
THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING EAST AROUND 40 MILES AN HOUR. COMMUNITIES IN
THE PATH OF THESE THUNDERSTORMS INCLUDES LAROSE...GOLDEN MEADOW AND
PORT FOURCHON.
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55
MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
FOR YOUR PROTECTION MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR
