IN SOUTH MISSISSIPPI ...NORTHERN HANCOCK COUNTY...SOUTHEASTERN PEARL RIVER COUNTY AT 12:35 PM CST NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM ABOUT 5 MILES EAST OF PICAYNUNE MISSISSIPPI. THIS STORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 15 MPH. THE STORM WILL CROSS INTO NORTHWEST HANCOCK COUNTY NEAR HIGHWAY 43 WITHIN THE NEXT 10 TO 15 MINUTES. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
