IN SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA ...ST. HELENA PARISH IN SOUTH MISSISSIPPI ...SOUTHERN AMITE COUNTY AT 5;22 PM CDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 5 MILES NORTH OF GILLSBURG. THIS STORM WAS MOVING SOUTH AT 10 TO 15 MPH. THE COMMUNITIES OF LIVERPOOL AND GREENSBURG ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
