FLASH FLOOD WARNING    EFFECTIVE UNTIL  430 PM CDT
FOR RESIDENTS IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTH MISSISSIPPI
 
   ...SOUTHERN HARRISON COUNTY
 
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR AT 228 PM CDT INDICATED A CLUSTER
OF VERY STRONG THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE COASTAL AREAS OF HARRISION COUNTY.
THIS AREA IS GENERALLY FROM PAST CHRISTIAN TO LONG BEACH. INDIVIDUAL
THUNDERSTORMS WERE DRIFTING EAST WHILE GRADUALLY BUILDING WEST TOWARDS
WAVELAND AND BAY ST LOUIS. RAINFALL RATES ARE 2 TO 3 INCHES |PER HOUR.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
