IN SOUTHWEST LOUISIANA ...CALCASIEU PARISH AT 455 PM...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 5 MILES NORTHEAST OF VINTON. MOVEMENT WAS SOUTHWEST AT 15 MPH. WIND GUSTS GREATER THAN 55 MPH...AND RAIN TOTALS BETWEEN ONE AND TWO INCHES CAN BE EXPECTED WITH THIS STORM IN VINTON. WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING.
