THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LAKE CHARLES HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1230 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTHEAST TEXAS
 
   ...SOUTHWESTERN TYLER COUNTY
 
AT 1025 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE
OF NEARLY STATIONARY THUNDERSTORMS OVER SOUTHERN TYLER COUNTY. RADAR
ESTIMATES INDICATE UP TO 4 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN NEAR THE
TOWN OF WARREN. AN ADDITIONAL 2 TO 3 INCHES OF RAIN IS EXPECTED THE
NEXT COUPLE OF HOURS.
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS
OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO
