000 TTAA00 KLBF 220110 RRA TORLBF NEC029-220155- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NORTH PLATTE NE 811 PM CDT (711 PM MDT) THU AUG 21 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NORTH PLATTE NE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 755 PM MDT (855 PM CDT) FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTHWESTERN NEBRASKA ...EASTERN CHASE COUNTY AT 708 PM MDT...A POSSIBLE TORNADO WAS INDICATED BY NORTH PLATTE DOPPLER RADAR 5 MILES SOUTH SOUTHEAST OF IMPERIAL MOVING SOUTH SOUTHEAST AT 35 MPH. THE TORNADO IS EXPECTED TO BE MOVE SOUTH SOUTHEAST ACROSS RURAL AREAS TO THE SOUTHWEST OF ENDERS. THIS IS A LARGE STORM WITH LARGE HAIL ALSO EXPECTED TO MOVE ACROSS AREAS TO THE NORTH AND EAST OF ENDERS. PERSONS IN SOUTHEAST CHASE COUNTY SHOULD BE ALERT AS THIS STORM HAS A HISTORY OF PRODUCING TORNADOES. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO TAKE SHELTER IMMEDIATELY.
