000 TTAA00 KJAN 050510 RRA SVRJAN MSC103-050600- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE JACKSON MS 1209 AM CDT SAT JUL 5 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN JACKSON HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 100 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN EAST CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI ...NOXUBEE COUNTY AT 1208 AM...JACKSON DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 17 MILES WEST-SOUTHWEST OF MACON. THIS STORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH AND HAS THE POTENTIAL OF PRODUCING WIND GUSTS IN EXCESS OF 65 MPH. THIS STORM WILL AFFECT THE COMMUNITY OF MACON BY 1230 AM. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM.
