IN CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI ...EASTERN COPIAH COUNTY...WESTERN SIMPSON COUNTY AT 629 AM DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM NEAR GEORGETOWN. THIS STORM WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 45 MPH...AND WILL MOVE THROUGH WESTERN SIMPSON COUNTY AND NEAR THE TOWN OF HARRISVILLE BY 7 AM. THIS STORM HAS THE POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE HAIL UP TO ONE INCH IN DIAMETER. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...LARGE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
