IN CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI ...EASTERN LEAKE COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI ...NESHOBA COUNTY AT 524 PM DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 2 MILES WEST MADDEN. THIS STORM WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR...AND IT WILL BE ENTERING WESTERN NESHOBA COUNTY BY 540 PM. WIND DAMAGE IS LIKELY WITH THIS STORM. A STATIONARY FRONT WAS OVER SOUTHERN MISSISSIPPI EARLY THIS AFTERNOON. LOW PRESSURE DEVELOPING OVER THE PLAINS STATES WILL CAUSE THIS FRONT TO MOVE BACK NORTH AS A WARM FRONT THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT. THIS WILL ALLOW MOISTURE TO INCREASE ACROSS THE STATE...AND THE AIRMASS ACROSS THE AREA TO BECOME MORE UNSTABLE. AS WINDS IN THE ATMOSPHERE BEGIN TO INCREASE...THE THREAT FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL INCREASE AS WELL.
