AT 419 PM WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A BAND OF VERY SLOW MOVING
THUNDERSTORMS OVER WESTERN RICHLAND PARISH. RADAR RAINFALL ESTIMATES
INDICATE THAT UP TO 3 INCHES OF RAIN MAY HAVE FALLEN SINCE 3 PM IN
AN AREA FROM GIRARD TO JUST WEST OF ALTO.  AN ADDITIONAL INCH OR
SO OF RAIN IS LIKELY THROUGH 5 PM.  FLASH FLOODING IS LIKELY IN THIS
AREA.
 
 
MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.  DO NOT ATTEMPT
