HEAVY RAINS DEVELOPING IN NORTHEAST LOUISIANA AND WEST-CENTRAL
MISSISSIPPI WILL LIKELY SPREAD EAST AND NORTHEAST OVER THE
AREA THIS MORNING AND WILL LIKELY PRODUCE ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINFALL IN
THE WARNED AREA.  LOCALIZED FLOODING OF LOW AREAS AND SMALL SREAMS HAS
ALREADY OCCURED OVER PARTS OF HINDS COUNTY. ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINFALL
WILL RESULT IN FLOODING OF SMALL STREAMS AND LOW AREAS AND CAUSE
FLOODING OF ROADWAYS.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR CAR INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD.
THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO DEEP TO ALLOW YOU TO CROSS SAFELY.
VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER MUST BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
