THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN FORT WAYNE HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  330 AM EST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN NORTHEAST INDIANA
 
   ...ALLEN COUNTY
 
SINCE 4PM EST THREE TO FOUR INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN OVER ALLEN COUNTY.
THE CITY OF FORT WAYNE REPORTED A DOZEN ROAD CLOSURES DUE TO HIGH WATER
SOME OF WHICH IS STARTING TO GET INTO HOMES. THE HIGH WATER AND ROAD
CLOSURES IS AFFECTING THE SOUTHERN SECTION OF FORT WAYNE SPECIFICALLY
PERSONS NEAR SPY RUN AND NORTH ANTHONY BLVD.
 
THE AREA OF RAIN EXTENDS ABOUT 20 MILES SOUTH OF THE CITY OF FORT WAYNE
AND IS MAKING VERY LITTLE MOVEMENT TO THE NORTH.  THIS SLOW MOVING TREND
IS EXPECTED THROUGH 2AM EST.
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS
OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO
NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
