FLOOD WARNING FOR SMALL STREAMS EFFECTIVE UNTIL 925 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN NORTHEASTERN KENTUCKY

   ...LEWIS COUNTY
 
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED BETWEEN 615
PM AND 715 PM AN INCH AND A HALF TO TWO AND A HALF INCHES
OF RAIN FELL IN FAR NORTHWESTERN LEWIS COUNTY NEAR THE TOWN
OF CONCORD.  AN ADDITIONAL INCH AND A HALF OF RAIN CAN BE EXPECTED
IN NORTHWESTERN LEWIS COUNTY THROUGH 820 PM.  THIS ADDITIONAL
RAINFALL WILL LIKELY CAUSE SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS TO RISE QUICKLY
AND EXCEED BANKFULL.
 
MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.  DO NOT ATTEMPT TO
CROSS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY.
