000 TTAA00 KILN 230142 FFWILN OHC017-230345- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED FLOOD WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE WILMINGTON OH 942 PM EDT TUE JUL 22 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN WILMINGTON HAS ISSUED A FLOOD WARNING FOR URBAN AREAS AND SMALL STREAMS EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1145 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTHWEST OHIO ...BUTLER COUNTY AT 940 PM NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED THAT NEARLY 2 INCHES OF RAIN HAD FALLEN ACROSS BUTLER COUNTY SINCE 830 PM. STORMS WERE CONTINUING TO DEVELOP ACROSS THE NORTHWESTERN PARTS OF THE COUNTY AND TRACKING SOUTHEASTWARD AFFECTING OXFORD...HAMILTON...AND WEST CHESTER. THIS ACTIVITY IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE THROUGH AT LEAST 1145 PM. STREETS MAY BEGIN TO FLOOD AND AREA CREEKS AND STREAMS MAY RISE OUT OF THEIR BANKS. NEVER DRIVE YOUR CAR INTO A FLOODED ROADWAY.
