A CLUSTER OF THUNDERSTORMS HAVE FORMED IN PENDER COUNTY JUST SOUTH OF
BURGAW. THESE THUNDERSTORMS HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE HEAVY
DOWNPOURS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN IN ONE HOUR...DIME SIZE OR LARGER
HAIL...WINDS GUSTING TO AROUND 45 MPH...AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING. THESE
STORMS ARE MOVING VERY SLOWLY TOWARD THE NORTHEAST AND SHOULD MOVE INTO
THE ASHTON AND ROCKY POINT AREAS BEFORE 310 PM AND LOCATIONS FURTHER
NORTH ALONG THE CAPE FEAR RIVER BY 330 PM.
