IN SOUTHEAST NORTH CAROLINA ...PENDER AT 543 PM EDT...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS INDICATED BY WILMINGTON DOPPLER RADAR IN THE VICINITY OF WILLARD MOVING EAST AT 28 MPH. THIS STORM IS EXPECTED TO REMAIN IN RURAL AREAS...ARRIVING AT MAPLE HILL BEFORE 6:30 PM. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN PRODUCE TORNADOES.
