SOUTHWEST KENNEBEC COUNTY THROUGH 300 AM...
 
WATER CONTINUES TO SPILL FROM A DAM BREAK ON APPLE VALLEY LAKE IN
WINTHROP AT 9 O/CLOCK THIS EVENING AS PIECES OF THE DAM CRUMBLE UNDER
THE TORRENT OF RUSHING WATER. ALL ROADS IN THE VICINITY OF THE TANNERY
BROOK AND WILSON STREAM IN THE TOWN OF NORTH MONMOUTH HAVE BEEN CLOSED
FOR THE NIGHT AND PEOPLE ARE URGED TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS AREA.
