000 TTAA00 KGRI 120243 RRA SVRGRI KSC123-120345- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HASTINGS NE 943 PM CDT WED JUN 11 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN HASTINGS NE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1045 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS ...MITCHELL COUNTY HIGH WINDS ARE LIKELY IN THE GLEN ELDER AND BELOIT AREAS BY 10 PM. AT 940 PM RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERTORM TO THE NORTH OF GLEN ELDER OR 35 MILES WEST OF CONCORDIA. VERY STRONG WINDS ARE LIKELY WITH THIS STORM AS IT MOVES TO THE SOUTHEAST AT 25 MPH. THE STORM SHOULD REACH THE BELOIT AREA BY 10 PM AND THE HUNTER AREA BY 1030 PM. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM...MOVE INDOORS NOW AND STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.
