INTERESTING WX PICTURE THIS AFTN WITH CONVECTIVELY INDUCE VORT MAX
LOCATED ON 1KM VIS NEAR LINCOLN/DAWSON COUNTY BORDER. OUR 1ST STORM
OF AFTN HAS JUST POPPED UP W/ THIS FEATURE AS OF 145 PM. MESO-SFC LO
ALSO ASSOCIATED WITH THIS VORT SE NEAR HLC. A BOUNDARY EXTENDS EAST
FROM THIS LOW THRU NRN KS. FURTHER NORTH SYNOP SCALE FRONT STILL
DRAPED FROM WRN SD THRU THE SANDHILLS THE EAST THRU SC/SE NEB.

PRETTY JUICY LLVLS WITH WIDESPREAD 65/70 F DWPTS AT SFC AND 14 C
DWPTS AT H85 ON 12Z ANALYSIS. ABSOLUTELY NO MID LVL FLOW THOUGH
WITH 10KTS AT BEST.

IN GENERAL...NGM HAS DONE BETTER WITH CURRENT VORT MAX AND ANOTHER
LIFTING OVER TOP OF RIDGE INTO WRN KS. HOWEVER...IT APPEARS TOO STRONG
WITH VVS FROM IT THIS AFTN/EVENING IN SE CWA. PERHAPS A COMPROMISE
LEANING CLOSER TO NGM IS A BETTER WAY TO DEAL WITH IT. NGM ALSO
BETTER W/ SFC FEATURES AS SMC ON ADAP VERY MUCH SUPPORTING IT/S IDEAS.

WILL KEEP 50% POPS GOING TONIGHT GIVEN THE DEGREE OF INSTABILITY
AND SEVERAL FEATURES TO SET STORMS OFF. IN FACT...CAP SHOULD BE GONE
BY 3-4 PM SO WOULD EXPECT DEVELOPMENT TO START TO BECOME MORE WIDE-
SPREAD BY LATER THIS AFTN. LOWS TONIGHT AGAIN IN MID 60S. WITH A
S OR SE WIND 5/15 MPH.

TOMR...SAME TYPE OF DAY. GENERAL FRONT STILL DRAPED THRU AREA IN
SOME FASHION OF ANOTHER. AMT OF TRWS WILL DEPEND ON WHAT/S SORT OF
BOUNDARYS OR VORTS LEFT OVER FROM 1ST PERIOD CONVECTION. WILL PLACE
IT 30% CHC BY LATE AFTN WITH IDEA THAT ANY EXTRA FOCUS LIKELY TO BE
FURTHER EAST ALONG FRONT. TEMPS IN THE UPPER 80S TO NEAR 90 STILL
SEEM REASONABLE...AND WILL DEPEND ON AMT OF CLOUDS LEFT OVER IN THE
AM. SE WIND 10/20.

TOMR NIGHT...WILL LEAVE 30% POPS IN WITH VVS INDICATED AT H85 NEAR
STALLED FRONT AS LL JET KICKS IN. LOWS 65/70 THRU AREA.

AND INTO FRI...AS NEXT SYS MOVES INTO ROCKY MTS...LEE TROF SHOULD
FOCUS MUCH OF ACTIVITY TO OUR WEST SO WILL LEAVE POPS OUT. GOOD
SOUTH WINDS...M SUNNY SKIES...AND PROGGED H85 TEMPS AGAIN SUPPORT
