FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1215 AM CST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS

AT 707 PM CST...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF STRONG
THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDING FROM TEMPLE TO CORSICANA TO BONHAM. THIS LINE OF
THUNDERSTORMS WAS MOVING EAST AT 25 MPH WHILE THE INDIVIDUAL STORMS WERE
MOVING NORTHEAST AT 35 MPH. RAINFALL RATES OF UP TO ONE AND A HALF
INCHES PER HOUR ARE LIKELY AS THIS LINE OF STORMS MOVES ACROSS THE
WARNED AREA. SOILS ARE ALREADY VERY SATURATED IN THIS AREA AND
ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAIN WILL RESULT IN FLOOD PROBLEMS.
 
AMATEUR RADIO OPERATORS HAVE REPORTED HIGH WATER OVER SEVERAL ROADS IN
RICHARDSON.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
