THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN FORT WORTH HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  130 PM CST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS
 
   ...ELLIS COUNTY
 
AT 1130 AM CST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THAT
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN CONTINUED OVER MOST OF
ELLIS COUNTY.  THIS RAIN SHOULD DIMINISH BY 1 PM AS THE HEAVY RAIN
MOVES TO THE NORTHEAST...HOWEVER...RAIN WILL REDEVELOP LATER THIS
AFTERNOON. AT 1123 AM CST...THE ELLIS COUNTY SHERIFFS OFFICE
REPORTED THAT THE INTERSECTION OF FM 66 AND FM 308 IN MAYPEARL WAS
BARRICADED DUE TO HIGH WATER.  ADDITIONAL FLOODING IS LIKELY.
 
 
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT.  IT'S
IMPORTANT TO KNOW WHERE YOU ARE RELATIVE TO STREAMS...RIVERS...OR
CREEKS WHICH CAN BHECOME KILLERS IN HEAVY RAINS.  CAMPERS SHOULD
AVOID CAMPING ALONG STREAMS OR CREEKS DURING THREATENING RAINS.
