THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN FORT WORTH HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1000 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS
 
   ...COMANCHE COUNTY...EASTLAND COUNTY...STEPHENS COUNTY
 
AT 700 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LARGE
AREA OF RAIN AND SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WEST OF A GRAHAM TO EASTLAND
LINE. ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 INCH MAY OCCUR OVER WESTERN
EASTLAND AND WESTERN STEPHENS COUNTY THIS MORNING WHERE MOST ROADWAYS
HAVE AREAS OF HIGH WATER. ALTHOUGH RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS HAVE MOVED
WEST OF COMANCHE COUNTY...NUMEROUS ROADWAYS ALSO REMAIN IMPASSABLE.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
