THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN FORT WORTH HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  130 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS
 
   ...TARRANT COUNTY
 
AT 1021 PM...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED FROM DFW AIRPORT TO
DOWNTOWN FORT WORTH PRODUCING RAINFALL RATES FROM 1 TO 2 INCHES PER
HOUR. IN ADDITION...STORMS NEAR MINERAL WELLS WILL REACH TARRANT COUNTY
BETWEEN 1130 PM AND 120 AM.
 
THE COMBINATION FROM THESE STORMS WILL RESULT IN FLASH FLOODING ACROSS A
LARGE PORTION OF THE COUUNTY.
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS
OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO
NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
