000 TTAA00 KFTW 140243 FFWFTW TXC231-140645- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED FLASH FLOOD WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE FORT WORTH TX 945 PM CDT FRI JUN 13 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN FORT WORTH HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 145 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... ...HUNT COUNTY AT 945 PM...DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATED RAINFALL TOTALS UP TO 8 INCHES OVER NORTHEASTERN HUNT COUNTY TODAY. VERY HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CONTINUE OVER THE COUNTY FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL HOURS...CAUSING ADDITIONAL FLOODING PROBLEMS WEST AND SOUTH OVER THE REST OF THE COUNTY TONIGHT. BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY. MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.
