FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  400 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS
 
   ...BLANCO COUNTY...BURNET COUNTY...LLANO COUNTY
 
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS THAT HAVE MOVED ACROSS THE HILL COUNTRY THIS
MORNING HAVE PRODUCED RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF UP TO 3 INCHES IN
BLANCO..BURNET..AND LLANO COUNTIES. STREAMS...CREEKS...LOW WATER
CROSSINGS AND LOW LYING AREAS ARE LIKELY ALREADY FLOODED. ADDITIONAL
RAINFALL IS
EXPECTED THROUGH THE AFTERNOON AS A SQUALL LINE APPROACHES FROM THE
WEST. ADDITIONAL RAINFALL WILL RUNOFF RAPIDLY CAUSING ADDITIONAL
FLOODING. SANDY CREEK IS EXPECTED TO RISE ABOVE BANKFULL LATE THIS
AFTERNOON.
 
AVOID ALREADY FLOODED AREAS.  TRAVELERS SHOULD NOT ATTEMPT TO
CROSS FLOODED ROADS.  IF YOUR VEHICLE STALLS...LEAVE IT AND MOVE
IMMEDIATELY TO HIGHER GROUND IF YOU CAN DO SO SAFELY.
