*   FLASH FLOOD WARNING UNTIL 735 PM EDT

*   CAUSE AND EFFECT
    AT 535 PM A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAIN WAS
    DEVELOPING OVER FAR SOUTHEAST LOWER MICHIGAN AND MOVING
    REPEATEDLY OVER THE SAME AREAS. THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING
    EAST OVER LENAWEE AND MONROE COUNTIES AT 30 MILES AN HOUR.


*   FORECAST CONDITIONS
    THUNERSTORMS PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAIN WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP
    OVER MONROE AND LENAWEE COUNTIES ALONG AND AHEAD OF A SLOW
    MOVING COLD FRONT. THE THUNERSTORMS WILL SLOWLY SAG SOUTH OF
    MICHIGAN AND INTO NORTHERN OHIO BY 730 PM.

PLEASE NOTIFY YOUR EMERGENCY MANAGERS IMMEDIATELY.

THERE IS A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON ACROSS SOUTHEAST
LOWER MICHIGAN. A FEW STORMS ARE ALSO POSSIBLE TONIGHT SOUTHEAST OF A
LINE FROM ANN ARBOR TO PORT HURON. NONE OF THESE THUNDERSTORMS ARE
EXPECTED TO BECOME SEVERE. WIND GUSTS OF 40 MPH AND SMALL HAIL ARE
POSSIBILE WITH SOME OF THESE STORMS.

AS THE AIR DESTABILIZES WITH HEATING THIS AFTERNOON...SCATTERED
THUNDERSTORMS CAN BE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP OVER SOUTHEAST LOWER MICHIGAN
SOME TIME AFTER 230 PM EDT. ANY STORMS THAT DEVELOP WILL MOVE NORTHEAST
AT AROUND 20 MPH.

A COLD FRONT MOVING THROUGH THE AREA COULD PRODUCE THUNDERSTORMS
THIS EVENING AND TONIGHT UNTIL 200 AM SOUTHEAST OF THE ANN ARBOR-PORT
HURON LINE.
