  KIMBALL COUNTY IN WESTERN NEBRASKA PANHANDLE

* UNTIL 300 AM MDT

* SOME AFFECTED LOCATIONS INCLUDE

  BUSHNELL

* CAUSE AND EFFECT
  AT 1055 PM MDT...THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUED TO MOVE SLOWLY THROUGH
  KIMBALL COUNTY...DUMPING MORE RAIN ON TOP OF AREAS FLOODED EARLIER
  THIS EVENING. DOPPLER RADAR IN CHEYENNE ESTIMATES THAT A LARGE AREA
  OF WESTERN KIMBALL COUNTY...FROM BUSHNELL SOUTH TO THE STATE
  LINE...HAS RECEIVED IN EXCESS OF SIX INCHES OF RAIN THIS AFTERNOON
  AND EVENING.  WHILE MOST OF THE RAIN FELL WEST OF HIGHWAY
  71...AREAS EAST WILL SEE CONSIDERABLE RISES ALONG LODGEPOLE
  CREEK...AND WITH THUNDERSTORMS REDEVELOPING SOUTHWESTWARD INTO
  NORTHERN COLORADO AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST WYOMING...THE PRECIPITATION
  IS NOT EXPECTED TO END IN THE COUNTY UNTIL WELL AFTER MIDNIGHT.

  THIS WARNING REPLACES THE WARNING THAT WAS SET TO EXPIRE AT 1100 PM.
 
 
THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.  BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT
WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE DANGERS OF FLASH FLOODING.
