349 WUUS1 KCLE 190357 RRA SVRCLE OHC063-173-190445- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CLEVELAND OH 1155 PM EDT SUN MAY 18 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CLEVELAND HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1245 AM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN OHIO ...HANCOCK COUNTY...WOOD COUNTY AT 1155 PM EDT DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IN HENRY COUNTY SOUTHEAST OF NAPOLEON. THE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 45 MPH. THUNDERSTORM HEADED FOR HANCOCK AND MAINLY SOUTHWEST WOOD COUNTY. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
