293 WUUS1 KCLE 190339 RRA SVRCLE OHC007-OHZ526-190430- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CLEVELAND OH 1137 PM EDT SUN MAY 18 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CLEVELAND HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1230 AM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN OHIO ...ASHTABULA COUNTY AND THE ADJACENT WATERS OF LAKE ERIE AT 1135 PM DOPPLER RADAR IN CLEVELAND SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IN GEAUGA COUNTY NEAR MONTVILLE. THE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 40 MPH. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
