000 TTAA00 KCLE 170022 RRA SVRCLE OHC101-170115- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CLEVELAND OH 821 PM EDT SAT AUG 16 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CLEVELAND HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 915 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN OHIO ...MARION COUNTY AT 820 PM EDT...RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM ALONG THE COUNTY LINE JUST WEST OF MORRAL. THE STORM WAS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 30 MPH AND WILL REACH MARION BEFORE 845 PM. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM. IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH YOU SHOULD PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...LARGE HAIL...AND DEADLY LIGHTNING. PEOPLE OUTSIDE SHOULD MOVE TO A SHELTER... PREFERABLY INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING BUT STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.
