THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CLEVELAND HAS ISSUED A
FLOOD WARNING FOR URBAN AREAS AND SMALL STREAMS
EFFECTIVE UNTIL  500 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

   ...FULTON COUNTY
 
AT 255 PM DOPPLER RADAR WAS SHOWING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY
RAINS OVER EASTERN FULTON COUNTY NORTH OF THE CITY OF SWANTON. RADAR WAS
ESTIMATING THAT AROUND TWO AND HALF INCHES OF RAIN FELL BETWEEN 150 PM
AND 250 PM.
 
ADDITIONAL SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL OCCUR ACROSS THE AREA THIS
AFTERNOON. THE STORMS WERE MOVING SLOWLY NORTHEAST AND WILL CAUSE HEAVY
RAINS. THE GREATEST THREAT FOR THE HEAVY RAINS ARE OVER EASTERN FULTON
COUNTY.
 
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
