THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CLEVELAND HAS ISSUED A
FLOOD WARNING FOR URBAN AREAS AND SMALL STREAMS
EFFECTIVE UNTIL  315 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

   ...WOOD COUNTY
 
AT 1:15 PM WEATHER SERVICE RADAR IN CLEVELAND SHOWED THAT SEVERAL SLOW
MOVING THUNDERSTORMS HAD MOVED ACROSS NORTHERN WOOD COUNTY EARLY THIS
AFTERNOON. RADAR INDICATED BETWEEN 2.0 AND 2.5 INCHES OF RAIN HAD FALLEN
WITH THESE STORMS NEAR AND JUST SOUTH OF WALBRIDGE. IN ADDITION
RADAR SHOWED NEW STORMS HAD DEVELOPING SOUTH OF THIS AREA AND THEIR
MOVEMENT WILL TAKE THEM ACROSS NORTHERN WOOD COUNTY.  THIS RAINFALL
ALONG WITH THE ADDITIONAL RAINFALL EXPECTED WILL LIKELY BE ENOUGH TO
PRODUCE LOCAL FLOODING.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
