000 TTAA00 KCAE 051829 RRA SVRCAE SCC009-051915- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE COLUMBIA SC 228 PM EDT TUE AUG 5 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN COLUMBIA HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 315 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTH CAROLINA ...BAMBERG COUNTY A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS JUST SOUTHEAST OF OLAR AND WILL MOVE SOUTHEAST AT 25 MPH. THIS STORM WILL BE APPROACHING EHRHARDT BY 3PM. THIS STORM WILL PRODUCE LARGE DAMAGING HAIL OVER 1 INCH AND GUST TO 60 MPH. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
