IN SOUTHERN TEXAS ...JIM HOGG COUNTY AT 650 PM...BROWNSVILLE RADAR INDICATES A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 20 MILES SOUTHEAST OF HEBBRONVILLE. HOWEVER...MODEL GUIDANCE SHOWS A COUPLE OF WEAK VORTS MOVING OVER THE MEAN RIDGE POSITION IN MEXICO. THESE VORTS WILL HAVE LIMITED MOISTURE TO WORK WITH ALTHOUGH 12Z SOUNDINGS FROM CRP...BRO AND DRT INDICATE THAT SOME LOW LEVEL MOISTURE IS PRESENT AT OR BELOW 800 MB.
