SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  315 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN NORTHEAST MASSACHUSETTS

AND THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS.
 
 
AT 225 PM...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE
THUNDERSTORM MOVING INTO NORTHWEST ESSEX COUNTY. IT WILL CONTINUE EAST
AT 30 MPH AND WILL PASS THROUGH THE COUNTY BY 315 PM...INCLUDING THE
TOWNS OF AMESBURY...HAVERHILL AND NEWBURYPORT. DAMAGING WINDS AND LARGE
HAIL ARE POSSIBLE.
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55
MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
