THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DENVER HAS ISSUED A SEVERE
THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 900 PM MDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE
FOLLOWING COUNTIES...

IN CENTRAL COLORADO
     SOUTHERN PARK

INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS
     11-MILE CANYON RESERVOIR...ANTERO RESERVOIR...HARTSEL...
     WILKERSON PASS AND PEOPLE TRAVELLING ON COLORADO HIGHWAY 9 TO
     THE SOUTHEAST OF HARTSEL.

AT 828 PM MDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 9 MILES SOUTHEAST OF HARTSEL...OR ABOUT 69 MILES
SOUTHWEST OF DENVER.

THE STORM WAS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 15 MILES PER HOUR.

HAIL UP TO AN INCH IN DIAMETER...INTENSE RAIN AND STRONG DAMAGING 
WINDS ARE LIKELY WITH THIS STORM.  TAKE COVER IN A SUBSTANTIAL 
SHELTER UNTIL THE STORM PASSES.

RADAR HAS ESTIMATED RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF ONE INCH IN 30 MINUTES WITH 
THIS THUNDERSTORM.
