SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1115 PM EDT (1015 PM CDT)
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN WEST CENTRAL GEORGIA

   ...STEWART COUNTY
 
AT 1012 PM EDT...WEATHER RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OVER
MARION COUNTY MOVING SOUTHWEST AT 35 MPH.  THIS STORM WILL MOVE INTO
THE NORTHEASTERN CORNER OF STEWART COUNTY FIRST...NEAR THE TOWNS OF
RENFROE AND BROOKLYN...THEN MOVE RAPIDLY ACROSS THE REST OF THE
COUNTY.
 
IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE... SEEK REFUGE FROM THE STORM IN A
STRONG BUILDING. BOATERS ON AREA LAKES SHOULD TAKE SHELTER.
DAMAGING WIND... LARGE HAIL... VERY HEAVY RAIN... AND DANGEROUS
LIGHTNING ARE ALL LIKELY. DO NOT SEEK SHELTER UNDER TREES OR OTHER
ISOLATED TALL OBJECTS. THESE ATTRACT LIGHTNING. DO NOT DRIVE INTO
AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD.
