000 TTAA00 KHSV 132038 RRA SVRHSV ALC089-132145- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HUNTSVILLE AL 338 PM CDT FRI JUN 13 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN HUNTSVILLE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 445 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN NORTH ALABAMA ...MADISON COUNTY AT 335 PM CDT WEATHER SERVICE RADAR IN HUNTSVILLE INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OVER EASTERN LIMESTONE COUNTY NEAR CAPSHAW. THIS STORM WILL MOVE INTO WESTERN MADISON COUNTY BETWEEN MADISON AND HARVEST BY 350 PM. THIS STORM HAS HAD A HISTORY OF PRODUCING LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WIND AS IT MOVED ACROSS LIMESTONE COUNTY. MOVEMENT WAS EAST NORTHEAST AROUND 30 MILES AN HOUR. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
