000 TTAA00 KBHM 302256 RRA SVRBHM ALC101-302340- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE BIRMINGHAM AL 456 PM CST SUN MAR 30 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BIRMINGHAM AL HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 540 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN CENTRAL ALABAMA ...MONTGOMERY AT 455 PM...A LARGE CLUSTER OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING OVER MONTGOMERY COUNTY. FROM THE MONTGOMERY AREA TO AROUND ADA AND DUBLIN. MOST AREAS THROUGHOUT THE COUNTY WILL BE AFFECTED BY THE STORMS. THE STORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT 40 MILES AN HOUR. THIS WARNING EXTENDS THE PREVIOUS WARNING ISSUED FOR MONTGOMERY COUNTY. IN ADDITION TO LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS... EXTREMELY INTENSE LIGHTNING IS ALSO LIKELY WITH THIS STORM. IF OUTDOORS... STAY AWAY FROM TALL OBJECTS. MOVE INDOORS IF POSSIBLE. WHEN INDOORS...
