IN EAST CENTRAL ALABAMA ...TALLAPOOSA COUNTY A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING FROM NORTHERN ELMORE AND EASTERN COOSA COUNTIES INTO WESTERN TALLAPOOSA COUNTY. THE STORM WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH AND WILL MOVE INTO THE LAKE MARTIN...ALEXANDER CITY AND DADEVILLE AREAS BEFORE 10 AM. THIS THUNDERSTORM WILL LIKELY PRODUCE LARGE HAIL. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
