IN CENTRAL NORTH DAKOTA ...EASTERN MORTON COUNTY...EASTERN OLIVER COUNTY AT 430 PM CDT...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED 25 MILES NORTHWEST OF MANDAN MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 40 MPH. THIS STORM WILL PRODUCE 60 MPH WINDS THROUGH CENTER...NEW SALEM AND PRICE. IF THE STRONG WINDS HALD TOGETHER THEY WILL REACH MANDAN BY 515 PM CDT. AT 415 PM CDT...68 MPH WINDS WERE REPORTED IN GLEN ULLEN...25 MILELS EAST OF DICKINSON FROM THESE STRORMS. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
