000 TTAA00 KBIS 102314 RRA SVRBIS NDC087-007-110000- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE BISMARCK ND 615 PM CDT (515 PM MDT) THU JUL 10 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BISMARCK HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 700 PM CDT (600 PM MDT) FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN SOUTHWEST NORTH DAKOTA ...SLOPE COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL NORTH DAKOTA ...BILLINGS COUNTY AT 510 PM MDT/610 PM CDT DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR INDICATED TWO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS. ONE WAS LOCATED 28 MILES NORTHWEST OF DICKINSON OR 12 MILES SOUTHWEST OF FAIRFIELD. THE OTHER STORM WAS LOCATED 40 MILES SOUTHWEST OF DICKINSON OR 10 MILES WEST OF AMIDON. TOWNS IN THE PATH OF THE STORMS INCLUDE AMIDON AND FAIRFIELD. THE STORMS WERE MOVING NORTHEAST 20 MPH. THE STORM IN BILLINGS COUNTY HAS A HISTORY OF PRODUCING 1 TO 2 INCH HAIL.
