THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BISMARCK HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  430 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN CENTRAL NORTH DAKOTA
 
   ...BURLEIGH COUNTY...NORTHEASTERN MORTON COUNTY
 
AT 330 AM CDT A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED 10 MILES SOUTH OF THE
BISMARCK/MANDAN ARE NEAR THE TOWN OF HUFF. THE STORM IS MOVING NORTH AT
10 TO 15 MPH. THE STORM SHOULD HIT THE SOUTHERN PARTS OF BISMARCK AND
MANDAN BETWEEN 340 AND 345 AM CDT. LARGE HAIL...STRONG WINDS AND VERY
HEAVY RAIN ARE POSSIBLE WITH THE PASSAGE OF THIS STORM.
 
THIS WARNING DOES INCLUDE THE BISMARCK/MANDAN METRO AREA. OTHER TOWNS
INCLUDED IN THE WARNING ARE REGAN AND WING.
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES
WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING.  HREMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO
RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
