THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BISMARCK HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  715 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTHEAST NORTH DAKOTA
 
   ...NORTHERN DICKEY COUNTY
 
AT 615 PM CDT A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS ENTERING NORTHERN DICKEY COUNTY.
THE STORM WAS 10 MILES NORTHWEST OF FULLERTON OR 35 MILES SOUTHWEST OF
JAMESTOWN. THE STORM WAS MOVING EAST-SOUTHEAST AT 30 MPH AND WILL PASS
JUST NORTH OF FULLERTON BY 630 PM.
 
LARGE AMOUNTS OF PEA SIZED HAIL WAS REPORTED FROM THIS STORM WEST OF
EDGELEY...BUT DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THE STORM HAD INTENSIFIED. HAIL OF
AT LEAST 3/4 INCH DIAMETER CAN BE EXPECTED WITH THIS STORM.
 
IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER FROM THE WEATHER IN A
STRONG BUILDING.  DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN...
AND DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS.
STAY INSIDE AWAY FROM WINDOWS UNTIL THE STORM HAS PASSED.
