IN EAST NEW YORK ...FULTON COUNTY AT 515 PM NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM JUST SOUTH OF STRATFORD. THIS STORM IS MOVING EAST ABOUT 20 MILES AN HOUR AND WILL BE NEAR - STRATFORD AT 520 PM. CAROGA LAKE AT 545 PM. JUST NORTH OF GLOVERSVILLE AT 545 PM. 5 MILES NORTHWEST OF MAYFIELD AT 605 PM. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
