SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1145 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN NORTHWEST CONNECTICUT
 
   ...LITCHFIELD COUNTY
 
A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WAS ALONG ROUTE 22 IN EASTERN DUTCHESS
COUNTY. IT WILL ENTER LITCHFIELD COUNTY SHORTLY BEFORE 11 PM. STORMS
WILL REACH A TORRINGTON TO WATERTOWN LINE BETWEEN 1115 AND 1130PM. THESE
STORMS WILL PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND HAIL HEAVY RAIN AND FREQUENT
LIGHTNING. TREES WERE DOWNED AT 1037 PM IN POUGHKEEPSIE.
 
 
WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A
STRONG BUILDING.  DO NOT STAND BY WINDOWS.  DONT USE TELEPHONES
