SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 925 PM MDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO

   ...CHAVES COUNTY
 
AT 821 PM MDT...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS INDICATED BY ALBUQUERQUE
DOPPLER RADAR 6 MILES WEST OF ROSWELL MOVING NORTH AT 23 MPH. THIS
STORM IS EXPECTED TO REMAIN IN RURAL AREAS TO THE WEST AND NORTHWEST
OF ROSWELL.

AT 820 PM MDT...STORM SPOTTERS REPORTED A ROTATING WALL CLOUD
APPROACHING U.S. HIGHWAY 70 6 MILES TO THE WEST OF ROSWELL.

RzEMEMBER...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE
TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. REMAIN CALM BUT BE
ALERT TO RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
